As a recent Dungeons & Dragons upstart, it all reminded me of the first hour of a new campaign, pouring over stat sheets and trying to understand what makes a character tick. However, complication and choice is not a bad thing. I spent a good thirty minutes deciding on which race I wanted to play, my character traits, choosing my class, and even struggled trying to pick the instrument that would play when I accomplished badass feats in-game. Even at the character creation screen there were so many options to read through, and the choices that you make truly matter.
